James Huang, President
James Huang is a Vice President at the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis. He and his wife Kris have two children, including a son with high-functioning autism. He actively volunteers in the community, leading school PTO efforts and coaching children’s sports. James has served on the Board of Examiners for the Missouri Quality Award, participated as a United Way allocations volunteer, and taught Junior Achievement classes. He has a BSBA degree from Washington University and an MBA from the University of Florida.

Betty Schaefer, Vice President
Betty Schaefer is a resident of St. Louis City and a parent of two teenagers, one of whom was diagnosed on the autism spectrum at the age of three. She has been active in the autism community for many years, sharing information with families new to the autism diagnosis and serving on the Eastern Missouri Autism Project (EMAP) Parent Advisory Committee. In addition to serving on the Board of Directors of Missouri Families for Effective Autism Treatment (MO-FEAT), she is a member of the Regional Advisory Council (RAC) of Region XI, which advises the Regional Director of the Department of Mental Health for the St. Louis Region. She is a graduate of Northwestern University and St. Louis University School of Law. She formerly served as Legal Counsel to the St. Louis County Probate Division and is currently an attorney in the Trusts & Estates Department of the law firm of Greensfelder, Hemker, & Gale, P.C. She specializes in estate and trust administration, estate planning, including special needs estate planning, probate, trust, and fiduciary litigation, and guardianship and conservatorship proceedings for both minors and adults.

Tabatha Hoffmeyer
Tabatha Hoffmeyer is a Special Education teacher at Eureka High School in the Rockwood School District. She has a Master of Teaching Degree from Webster University with an emphasis on Mild to Moderate Disabilities. She is currently working on her certification in Behavior Analysis and Severe Disabilities.

Nick Sargent
Nick Sargent is director of digital strategy for Standing Partnership, a reputation management consulting firm in St. Louis. He helps organizations engage with their most important stakeholders using digital tools, coaching them on how to share stories and using them to drive real value for organizations. Nick earned his MBA from Saint Louis University (SLU) in 2010 and his bachelor’s degree in print journalism and political science from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.
